Time Out says

Serving as both a butcher shop and a burger joint, Belcampo Meat Co. has expanded to Downtown's Grand Central Market, offering customers a solid lunch spot to grab a burger, pulled pork sandwich, or maybe even pick up a pound of ground beef to bring home. The company prides itself on sustainable, organic meat, a practice that is readily apparent as soon as you bite into one of their famed cheeseburgers. Oh, and they make their own vinegar slaw, ketchup and aioli, so everything tastes like it was whipped up just for you.

This place can definitely get a little pricey depending on your order. But their burgers are pretty phenomenal and tough to beat -- certainly one of the best ones I've had as of late. I love that Belcampo @ GCM also has a proper butcher counter as well. They have options galore for all of your meat cooking needs.

Adventuring downtown and have a mean craving for a burger and fries?  Come sit down at the counter at Belcampo and enjoy a simple burger made with quality ingredients.  While it's a steeper price point than say, In-n-Out or the famed Pie 'n Burger in Pasadena, it can't be beat in the neighborhood.  The menu is fairly extensive beyond its burgers too, so you'll have reason to come back.

Two words: So. Good. The guy behind the counter was talkative (in a good way) and very informative. 1st - the lights and graphics: not overly done, but informative and reminiscent of classic signage. Gives a little bit of a hipster vibe, but with nods to old school butchers. 2nd - buy one get one free drinks. 5pm til close Monday-Thursday. Yes, please, and thank you! 3rd - the food!!!! Anywhere that has a butcher on site is already doing it right, but the food is cooked perfectly, smells like it's gonna make your mouth a happy place, and the quality is spot on. My friend got the Belcampo burger and LOVED it. I had the grilled Mortadello sandwich. This thing that amazing. The meat was the same quality I had in Italy. The cheese flowed over onto the grill so it had a nice crispy edge on it. And the fries...salty and perfectly textured. Go there. Eat their food. Take some home and eat it again.

Belcampo is a must go in the Grand Central Market, not just because it’s a beautiful little place, but also the burgers are amazing (!!!) and you can also buy meat, eggs,… directly there and cook at home. Their offer is diverse and all is fresh and trustworthy. I go there a lot, and until this day, the price / quality has been always very good. Sometimes, at lunch or dinner time it gets a bit crazy (which, is normal), but now they upgraded and have pagers, so you can be elsewhere, while waiting, in case it is too crowded.

The Belcampo Burger is one of my favorite burgers in the city, and one of the dishes that I would brave Grand Central Market at lunchtime for. It's simple—topped with caramelized onions, white cheddar and not much else—but Belcampo is all about quality beef, and even if this burger came undressed I would enjoy it. The beef is just so good, and worth the price tag.
