Every year author, reporter and one of the world’s foremost taco authorities Bill Esparza brings some of the greatest taqueros to Los Angeles for his sprawling, hyper-curated taco fest, but as 2021 isn’t exactly a normal year, Taqueando is returning once again with a bit of a tweak: In this iteration, we’re getting four weeks of à la carte taco pop-ups.
Running March 10 through April 25, the Taqueando Takover is, well, taking over the Arts District’s former Church & State restaurant space. For its final few nights, Taqueando will bring in James Beard Award-winning chef John Sedlar to revive his former Downtown L.A. restaurant Rivera.
