What a secret find in the trending part of DTLA! It's located near to the new Mikeller brewery and it's not super obvious from the outside but once you walk in it's such a cute place!

You'll see a whole display of freshly made donuts right when you walk in so be prepared to have tons of options.  The staff was super nice and even let me try a bit of everything! I loved the maple bacon one! It's about $3.50 a piece so it's more on the pricey side.  They have a very famous 25k gold donut for $100... I didn't even know they had this but seeing the photos, it looks very glamorous!

They also have a full menu of food which is great! I go the Hot Chicken sandwich which was fantastic.  It was certainly on the spicey side but it was so delicious! I was amazed with the flavors and definitely think it's better than Howlin' Rays.

Whats not to love about the timeless killer combo of savory and sweet which in this case is embodied by chicken and donuts!  I had the regular chicken sandwich, and although I was slightly skeptical at first because I'm not in to coleslaw and w"white sauce" which are typical of a fried chicken meal...this was delicious!  It wasn't overpowering, it was just right.  And yes its not cheap, but you definitely walk away full!  Plus if your a coffee snob they even serve intelligensia coffee!  Its a super small space, but if you go midweek it isn't too crowded and its cool to experience the mix of people that come in, because lets face it..everyone loves fried chicken and donuts

Breakfast. Chicken. Sandwich. The chicken was delicious: a full piece of fried chicken so large that it was in every bite. I loved the coating: light, crispy and not greasy. The sandwich came with a fried egg (yolk porn), hardwood bacon, cheese and caramelized onions. It was truly an amazing sandwich and everything was perfect.

The butterscotch latte was perfect with the donuts, which I got an assortment of holiday treats and their everyday favorites. Their maple bacon is great (how could you not love bacon?) and their chocolate holiday donut is just as amazing. Chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing and holiday sprinkles: yum!

Fried chicken and donuts should always be a thing. Go get some - you can thank me later.

Fried chicken and donuts, nothing more, nothing less--BUT WHAT A CONCEPT!  Fried chicken is perfect and delicious.  I'm still craving the homemade ranch dressing that came with the chicken tenders.  Donuts are of the cake variety, so are a bit on the heavy side, but there's a different variety for every taste preference.  Strawberry donut had perfect kick of fresh strawberry, triple dark chocolate was decadent, but not overwhelming.  Bonus--they offered us free samples of several of the donuts. A+ service.

Place is a rip off. They advertise quality ingredients and then switch them out for cheaper stuff. Avoid this place but it will be out of business shortly
