Plaques around the restaurant advertise the kitchen's fortes in humorous three-liners like "grass-fed beef," "steamy hot buns" and "hot potato love." But it's the burgers that speak for themselves: California-grown turkey burgers livened up with a hint of basil, Wild Alaskan salmon burgers, and, of course, the signature Lounge burger, with hormone-free beef, served on a whole wheat bun.

It's hard to stand out as a burger, but serving high quality, hormone-free meats and fresh topics with homemade sauces, like the Burger Lounge does, is a way to do so. This place is nice and simple. You order at the counter and they bring your order to you including sauces and whatever else you might want.

I ordered one of their specials, the grass fed lamb burger. I liked how lean it was compared to some of the beef patties. In addition to a well seasoned lamb patty, the burger contained smoked mozzarella, avocado, tomatoes, battered and fried jalapeno slices, watercress, radish and a light house bbq sauce. The combination of flavors and fresh toppings made this burger stand out. The bun was toasted and crispy on the inside, which I really appreciate.

Their sides of fries and onion rings are made very well, nice and crunchy. You can even do half and half to one order.
