Buddha's Feast at Cholada Thai Cuisine

You'll be hard-pressed to find a better spot west of Thai Town than this intimate destination eatery perched just off PCH. If the ocean view of this Malibu beach shack doesn’t capture your attention, the deliciously authentic Thai plates will. Golden-hued locals soak in the sun while noshing on staples like pad see ew ($9.95), rice noodles tossed with egg, broccoli and sweet accent of dark soy sauce, and house specialties like highly addictive Golden Bags ($8.59), crispy, fried wontons filled with ground chicken and shrimp and sweet and spicy dipping sauce.

Best Thai in all of LA - not just this small area. OMG- their rice is good enough to ruin your "no carb-diet" for!!

This place is such a gem! When I first moved here and went to the beach for the first time, I was starving after and felt like I had stumbled upon such a great little find. It's basically a bungalow house directly across the street from the beach. You can smell amazing aromas from said beach, and the food is light, fresh and delicious—not greasy, not overcooked, and not too expensive. It's one of my favorite places to eat after a long beach day, and is also a cozy spot to go in wintertime.
