It’s never too early to reserve a table—especially when “Top Chef” alum Melissa King and her gang of all-star culinary minds are running the kitchen. Bringing the Co + Lab pop up concept to LA’s Hinoki & Bird, King (along with Chef Brooke Williamson of Playa Provisions, Mei Lin of “Top Chef,” Nyesha Arrington of Leona, Shirley Chung of Twenty Eight Restaurant & Lounge, and Keiichi Kurobe of Hinoki & Bird) will curate a six-course, gourmet meal that’s sure to cure your case of the Mondays. Epicurean headliners include the likes of torched red snapper crudo, steak tartare, pork cheek torteloni, and rabbit leg roulade. All proceeds will go towards La Cocina, benefitting low-income food entrepreneurs kick-start their business.
