Time Out says

There's plenty of street food to be had in LA, but if you're craving the flavors of Mexican street food without buying it from an actual cart, Cocina Condesa is a solid option. The Studio City restaurant helmed by chef Eddie Garcia is packing plenty of flavor into its tacos, antojitos, and entrées like corn masa crepas and chocolate mole chicken enchiladas. The chicken-stuffed empanadas are a dream, but make sure to save room for dessert—Cocina Condesa's churros are heavenly.

Mixologist David Rubin has crafted an outstanding cocktail program here, with mezcal and tequila being the primary focus. You'll find elevated versions of the usual suspects, like a margarita with crushed crickets, salt and cinnamon dusting the rim, as well inventive drinks like El Tigre: bourbon, Ancho Reyes, CioCiaro, spiced bitters and mandarin Jarrito (a Mexican soft drink). Balanced and refreshing, it's one of the best drinks on the menu. Cheers!

I'm always looking for good brunch spots in the valley. I liked their menu because they have a variety of options for brunch, but I was already hooked on their pancakes after seeing a picture of it on Instagram. The "Mayan chocolate pancakes" are composed of three sizable, thin pancakes topped with platanos fritos and sprinkled with some powdered sugar and a cinnamon-chocolate mix. The syrup that you drizzle on your flapjacks is made of piloncillo (solid whole cane sugar). This entire combo was one of the best pancakes that I've had in a long while. I also ordered a side of hash browns. I liked these as well because they add some finely chopped peppers in the mix to give it a kick of heat. As it was brunch, I paired my meal with a brunch cocktail.

They have plenty of weekly specials, like: happy hour, Margarita Mondays and Taco Tuesday.

Cocina Condesa is an adorably great little restaurant. They have crickets in their guac which is awesome. Also raisins, not so awesome but hey always worth a try. Their tacos are amazing and their smalls plates are awesome for sharing. The service can sometimes be a bit spotty if it's crowded but nothing unbearable. I like when they open the front door things so you can feel like you're sitting outside even if you are indoors. Also, amazing drinks!
