So long New Year’s diet and hello deep-fried fair food: The Rose Bowl is hosting a drive-thru stocked with gut-busting fair favorites for sale, including turkey legs, deep-fried Oreos, doughnut cheeseburgers, onion rings and teriyaki chicken pineapple bowls.
To be clear: This isn’t some sort of curated, Smorgasburg-like round-up of cult-favorite vendors. Instead, it’s literally a drive-thru of food fair staples. Admission is free (which means you can likely expect some traffic backups) but you’ll have to pay per item; if you register online in advance, you’ll nab a free mini funnel cake. You’ll find it in Lot K, on the southwest side of the stadium, with a dozen different kiosks (each will have two lanes for ordering, plus a lane for passing).
