If you want to lend a hand in helping fight California’s devastating wildfires, we suggest using your mouth. On Mondays into December, Hail Mary Pizza in Atwater Village is hosting a community dinner, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Wildfire Relief Fund.
Between 5 and 9pm, Hail Mary will be putting out platters of salads, roast vegetables, paella and more, at a cost of $25 per person—though larger donations are of course accepted.
Donations fund both short- and long-term support for those who’ve lost their housing and/or belongings, by rebuilding homes, providing respiratory equipment, coordinating mental-health and financial services, assisting with basic needs and follow-up medical care, sourcing and providing supplies and more. What’s more, the Wildfire Relief Fund helps those throughout California, providing aid for survivors of our nearby Woolsey Fire and beyond.
