Henry's Tacos

The long-standing taco stand may have a new address—the Studio City institution recently moved across the street to Tujunga Ave—but you can expect the same hard shell tacos served with old-school charm. Pull up to the corner shack—you can't miss the retro awning—and order at the window. The tiny menu lists soft shell tacos, burritos, homemade chili, but the thing to order here are the hard shell tacos filled with ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheese and tomato. At $2.40 a piece and available round-the-clock, it's LA comfort food at its best.
