Are we sick of poke yet? You might not think so, based on the continual presence of poke shops that permeate our city. One of these comes in the form of Hoke Poke, a small Downtown eatery with a big love for puns. The menu is a play on the children's song, but unfortunately, they've spent more time trying to be cute and less tiem focusing on their poke bowls. Pre-crafted bowls (of which there are six) range from teh theavily sauced East Meets West to the über-sweet Mango Tango, all of which come with the hefty price tag of $9.95 for a small and $13.95 for a large. You can also create your own custom bowls, choosing from a selection of bases, proteins, mix-ins, toppings and sauces.

The poke bowls here are a notch above other poke places. Ingredients seems a little fresher and the variety of toppings exceed your typical selection. The bamboo rich is a nice touch. Their sauces are well thought and perfectly balanced.
