Hummus Festival at Beverly Hills Farmers' Market

If you think you boast the mightiest, tastiest hummus in all of the land, now is your chance to prove it. Come October 30, the Beverly Hills Farmers' Market is hosting the ultimate hummus throwdown where locals can bring in their finest spread in hopes of taking home the title of BH hummus champion. But the coveted chickpea dish won't be the only thing enticing Sunday Farmers' Market goers. The Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles, in partnership with the American Israeli Council and the City of Beverly Hills, will bring together Israeli food vendors and artists from the LA area to set up shop along Civic Center Drive for a culture and art fest. Savor a tasty morsel of hummus or Israeli fare, while hearing from speakers like Sam Grundwerg, the Consul General of Israel, and John A. Mirisch, mayor of Beverly Hills, on their collaboration and growing support.
