Delicious pancakes that come with a delightful side effect of spending your following evening in the ER.  The Larchmont neighborhood is hectic at best, but parking can be found on side streets (if it's not a street cleaning day), and the Bungalow is situated with quick access to everything else on the street.  Pleasant interior, although waits can be an hour or more on the weekends, which makes getting food poisoning from them after the fact all the more galling.  Even more galling is the run around the Bungalow gives customers--first they act like a responsible restaurant, getting details, and offering to pay medical bills.  Once you've run around town, going back to the hospital to get copies of bills and doctor's notes, delivering them to the restaurant, and the health department has been out and found numerous violations, but no specific issues with the food--at least on that day, they can't vouch for the day you ate there--they tell you there's no chance it was their food that sickened you and your friend.  You and your friend who both came down with the same symptoms, at the same time, after sharing the same meal (1/2 portion of the Red and Blue velvet pancakes, which is more than enough, can't even imagine the full portion! + boba beverages).

Cute place, delicious food, and easy to enjoy it if you just ignore violations like the following found by the health department: ceiling leak, sanitation bucket stored on counter, soiled door handles/other non food surfaces, hot water not up to proper temperature, and food surfaces not cleaned with properly sanitized wiping cloths. But if you're willing to believe that just because their pancakes and boba are made in massive batches there's no possible way they come in contact with cooks and servers who cleaned with soiled cloths and touched soiled surfaces and didn't wash their hands with hot water--enjoy.

This is a great brunch spot on Larchmont! They have a wide variety of options to choose from even if you're vegan (yay!). I love all of their salads, breakfast dishes and if you're in the mood for something sweet, they have delicious pastries.
