Head to Fairfax fast on Friday, because this latke and pit-smoked pastrami sandwich pop-up starts at 6pm and runs until they sell out—which, by the way, is almost a certainty, given that it's Ugly Drum's pastrami and the latkes come loaded with toppings like sable, crème fraîche, smoked salmon, roe and chives. There'll even be chocolate babka, and of course matzo ball soup. Wash it all down with house-made tarragon, celery and rye drinks, while you're at it.
