Time Out says
Madame Monsieur offers Downtown residents and working professionals a break from the usual Subway sandwiches and overpriced bowls of soup that are all-too familiar in this part of L.A. Step inside the charming café and you'll find petit sandwiches for $4.50, with options that range from a phenomenal tuna sandwich brightened with lemon and cayenne pepper to a turkey creation slathered with cranberry sauce. Larger toasted baguettes pair well with the soup and salad sides, and their small quiches transport you to Paris with one bite. Stop by in the morning, too, for Madame Monsieur's flaky pastries and an avocado toast decorated with chia seeds and a fig glaze.

What a gem. I get the tuna sandwich every time because it's absolutely perfect, as well as the croque madame when I want to splurge (it's also small enough that it's not a gut buster). I need to come by soon for the avocado toast!
