Raw food guru Matthew Kenney brings his thoughtful, upscale cooking (or rather, non-cooking) to the West Coast at the Promenade's Santa Monica Place Market. Watch beautifully-plated dishes come together from the stools—albeit, a bit uncomfortable—at the bar. Order wine by the glass or fresh coconut water to go with the jicama "rice" nori rolls or seasonal salads. The restaurant also features the adjacent Matthew Kenney Culinary, a cooking school dedicated to raw food cuisine.
