This bright Googie icon once housed the rock-and-roll coffee shop hangout Ben Frank's. These days, you're more likely to find hungry late-night tourists scarfing down burgers and trying to spot celebrities, but that makes this 24/7 diner no less enjoyable.

Great spot for late night dining with cute decor.  We sat in the back bar area and it took a while for the bartender to take our order because she was chatting with some other patrons.  When she finally came over, we asked her to describe the Strawberry Smash cocktail listed on the menu and she said, "It's a fruity drink."  We were trying to find out what kind of alcohol was in it, or other significant ingredients, but whatevs.  They had a decent late night happy hour, so we decided to order off that menu to save some $$$.  We had the turkey slider, fries and chicken wings.  The slider was $3.50 and super tiny.  The turkey was more of a sausage consistency, rather than a patty.  It tasted gross, so I pawned it off to my hubby since he isn't very picky about how his poultry tastes.  The fries and wings were average.  I ended up ordering a mojito for my beverage and it was tasty, however it took about 15 minutes for the bartender to get it to me.  The best part about this evening was my entire table got to witness a glass literally fly off our servers tray as she was just standing at our table.  Pretty sure we got some paranormal action that night!
