Grill-outs can be a hassle—just let Dominique Ansel do the cooking for you. Stop by his restaurant in the Grove for an all-day party featuring a special à la carte Memorial Day BBQ menu. There'll be pulled-pork sliders; Kansas City-style ribs with house-made BBQ sauce; Santa Maria-style beef tri-tip with pico de gallo; beef brisket; and grilled chicken drumsticks with spicy buffalo sauce.
It wouldn't be a BBQ without the requisite sides, and of course Ansel has you covered there, too—with gourmet mac and cheese, slaw and potato salad, among others—and you know the pastry chef has dessert on lock. Expect house-made "Oreo" ice cream sandwiches and banana cream pie, plus ice-cold watermelon sangria and buckets of beer to kick off the grilling season.
