Of the several Third Street Promenade restaurants favored by locals, this theatrical Asian eaterie is the most interesting. Dining under garish iron chandeliers amid Victorian Colonial style is like eating very well in the middle of a movie set. Prepared in an open kitchen, the food is a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese and pan-Asian fusion.
