Naya – “new” in Hindi, is designed to offer patrons a highly personal take on Indian cuisine in a setting that seems lifted from a set designer’s fantasy. The food: modern, California-influenced, Indian-inspired. The setting: utterly unique. Naya Lounge is a dark, moody, gothic/Moroccan scene replete with high ceilings, carved wooden arches, a marble bar and comfortable seating. Naya Sunset – the dining room – is an ethereal and romantic haven with white lace billowing from the ceiling, white leather banquettes and blood red accents. Together they reflect the perceived duality of life, the dark and the light. Naya is exotic, sexy, transporting -- new, indeed.
