Time Out says

After a massive renovation, Bunker Hill's upscale restaurant Nick & Stef's Steakhouse is back in action with a revamped menu and mid-century modern flair. Coral blues, caramel and brass hues decorate the space, but it's the onsite curation of quality meat that really speaks to the restaurant's focus. Executive chef Andreas Roller delivers beautiful cuts of beef, like a Tomahawk rib chop cut tableside (you can even choose your own steak knife!). Also served tableside: a classic Nick & Stef's Caesar salad, crafted to the diner's specifications (easy on the anchovies, please). Decadent sides include an orecchiette mac and cheese, creamed spinach with bacon, and roasted fall squash with maple syrup and pumpkin seeds. If there's any way you have room for dessert, a rum raisin chocolate cake will finish you off—and will most definitely have you rolling out of the restaurant.

Came here for Dine LA as I've always wanted to try this place.  It's tucked away from the main road on Grand Ave so it was a bit hard to find originally.

The interior is absolutely gorgeous and would certainly consider doing an event here someday.  They start you off with this cheese bread which is baked fresh but I wasn't feeling that well.

In terms of the main items, I wasn't blown away as I got the hangar steak and my friend got the jidori chicken.  I found the chicken to have more flavor than my steak - it was quite small too!

Dessert was kind of blah as it was 2 oatmeal cookies with some panna cotta.... not really that worth it....

I'd be curious about their regular menu but based on this experience wasn't that amazing.

Nick & Stef's is such a treat in Downtown's Bunker Hill neighborhood. Not only is it incredibly beautiful, but the staff is a dream, their steak selection is on point, and their wine list is exceptional. I really love their mac and cheese, along with an incredibly decadent pumpkin soup that they have. The bar area is great for a date or happy hour, and there's a nice little patio to enjoy when the weather is nice (read: not too hot!).

Recently went here got happy hour and I was SO impressed!! The decor of the restraint is beyond beautiful and staff was very attentive. I highly recommend their Mac and cheese (not on the happy hour menu) and also their middle eastern mezze. All of it was so delicious.
