Put your money—and some Freedman's—where your mouth is this Sunday, when Silver Lake's modern-Jewish deli teams up with strip-club institution Cheetahs for a buffet and live show that benefits women's reproductive rights.
The event, titled Not Your Bubbe's Buffet, will pass on 100 percent of its proceeds to local org Sexy Beast for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, a group that raises money for L.A.-area locations of Planned Parenthood through galas, merchandise, art and entertainment.
Each $50 ticket to the party includes a dinner buffet by Freedman's, one cocktail—with more available for purchase—and performances by the women of Cheetahs. There'll also be a special musical performance, plus a few other surprises, making this a real bang-for-your-buck (but maybe-not-for-your-bubbe) experience.
