Items like the free-range chicken salad sandwich, brioche French toast and shakshuka are all made with local and seasonal ingredients, while the rest of the cafe's offerings (coffee beans sourced from Intelligentsia, Ecco Caffe and Coava; pastries brought in by Cake Monkey and Sweets for the Soul) continue the locavore feel. An upstairs gift shop, curated by the owner's wife and daughter, as well as an adjacent dance studio, add to the vibrant scene.

I love pic fair village - it's super diverse - this Overpriced cafe is not a welcome addition, Its over priced and trying too hard, and the selection of food is limited. Hipsters be moving in.
I often come here with friends for conversation over a great cup of coffee. It's a great coffee place for the PicFair neighborhood. The food is a little pricey, but it's good.
This REALLY shouldn't be on Time Out's list of "Top Place to Sip Coffee While You Work" -- Paper or Plastik Cafe is aggressively hostile towards anyone with a laptop, with signs everywhere saying laptops aren't welcome. If you like having your coffee in a police state, then check this place out -- but if you'd like a friendlier experience, there are lots of other great coffee shops in this town.
