Caviar burger at Petrossian

How does the song go? If you like it, then you should put a ring caviar on it. Sounds like the anthem at Petrossian, where you can get caviar for breakfast, lunch and dinner: scrambled eggs with caviar, caviar and cheese plate, salmon bagel with caviar and even vodka with caviar. Enter the fancy-pants caviar cave just off of Beverly and Robertson Blvds for the next time you're craving a pricey French meal with a side of fish eggs. Don't forget to check out the Petrossian boutique next door for some posh pantry staples, on your way out.

Whenever I want to have a delicious meal in a totally luxurious way, I head to Petrossian. I've had several dinners, lunches and brunches there, and dined there with two different chefs. And the quality is always superior and I've left utterly satisfied. Each preparation highlights the star of the dish so well.

During my last brunch there, the meal began with a mini plate of buckwheat blinis that were topped with pike roe, trout roe, salmon roe and caviar over a delicate dollop of creme fraiche. I pretty much love anything in the realm of egg, and savoring these delicacies really brightens the meal.

The next course consisted of the most creamy, soft scrambled eggs topped with smoked salmon and dill. On the side they served perfectly golden triangles of  toast. The whole bowl felt like a warm hug, and ended up being very filling.

On the way out, I took a quick look at their case and really admired these dark and white chocolate mushrooms filled with caramel and toffee. What a perfectly made sweet treat of the highest quality chocolate and filling.

Overall, one cannot lose dining at Petrossian.
