The family behind Guisados has done it again. After years building a local taco chain that's dedicated to handmade corn tortillas piled with flavorful braises, the father, son, and daughter De La Torre team have opened Playita Mariscos: a coastal-Mexico–inspired seafood stand for tostadas, tacos, ceviches and campechanas in Silver Lake. The menu is brief, but the seafood is flavorful and fresh, and the price is right. It's like a little trip to the coast, way inland.
