Rascal is what every neighborhood needs... a local restaurant that caters to the neighborhood, better know as a neighborhood Hang. Located at the corner of La Brea and Eight in Mid-City, Los Angeles we offer Casual America Fare from Chef Andy Lee; steak frites, Rascal burgers, grilled tilapia, shrimp roll sandwich, short ribs over tater tots and more, all served up with craft beer, selected wines by the glass and house-made sangria. Open nightly at 5:00 we start with our Daily Dose, regarded by many as one of the best happy hours in town. We are always full of neighbors and folk who work in Miracle Mile. We look forward to having you join us!

As I live and work near Rascal, I frequently suggest it when trying to make plans for a dinner with friends or with clients. The staff is friendly and the comfort food (chicken sandwiches, mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, etc) menu is delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is very cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. It's an easy and low key place to grab a meal and catchup with a small group. Last time I was there, I noticed that on Mondays their happy hour runs all night long -- featuring several drink and sizable food options for around 6 dollars. Beware that if you're driving, parking can be pretty tough in the area and the valet might be your best bet.

I live walking distance to this restaurant and always feel right at home when i step into Rascals. They offer really tasty comfort food (I recommend their mac and cheese). They have great wine and beer selections during their happy hour so if you can make it in time I highly recommend it.
