Time Out says

This upscale lodge at the end of a country road was a Hollywood star retreat in the 1920s, and retains an Old West feel. The speciality is game: Partridge, elk and venison are favorites, though the specials can include even more exotic fare. Sunday brunch is popular with folks out for a day in the country; or come to view sunset from the upper dining rooms. There's a pre-dinner happy hour Monday through Friday from 5-6pm at the bar.

Saddle Peak Lodge is FULL of character and PEACEFUL!  The menu is well thought out, perfectly prepared, and presented with real eye appeal.  Everyone from the Valet to wait staff and bartenders are knowledgeable, polite and want you to have the best experience.  My family and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at SPL.  Once again, this place never disappoints.  We wanted to try the new Whiskey parlor, The Double Barrel Room.  What fun! My husband and I thought we knew alot about Whiskey but WOW!  Those people are on-point!   We give Saddle Peak Lodge AND The Double Barrel Room the best rating and thanks to everyone there for making our anniversary so special.
