Hollywood’s location is the most polished of Teddy’s outposts, with more seating and a slightly bigger menu. It still runs on the same formula: birria tacos dipped in broth and stuffed until they can barely hold.
The crowd here is a mix of office workers, tourists and locals. Service moves fast, portions are generous and the atmosphere is energetic. Consomé is ladled into cups at a steady clip, tacos arrive stacked and steaming and the line rarely slows.
Hollywood may not have the original’s grit, but it delivers the same food that made Teddy’s famous. For most people, that is more than enough.
