Chef Kris Morningstar partnered with Stephane Bombet and Francois Renaud and commands the kitchen of this Mid-City “Cali Brasserie,” which plays on French classics. Sit on the bucolic planter-lined patio with a central tree, strings of lights and red cushioned banquette seating. Though Terrine is a solid spot to hold dinner dates and meetings—the steak frites is on point, featuring a 10-ounce steak cooked sous vide and paired with Kennebec fries—Morningtar's brunch is gaining in popularity.
