The basics of classic American cuisine—steak, mac and cheese, pork chop—can be found at The Whisper Restaurant, a contemporary eatery and lounge inside The Grove. But classic doesn't mean boring. Here, you'll also find Florida gulf shrimp and butternut squash ravioli paired with expertly crafted cocktails, like a Miracle Mule or a Crosstown Traffic.

With due respect to the Grove and the great stuff there, I'd never really recommend going out of your way to eat at a restaurant in the complex. They're often crowded and have a vibe that I'm not the biggest fan of. That being said, I came here with some colleagues from work a few months ago and had no complaints with the evening. The restaurant is very small and nice but casual, and it definitely has a much more relaxed and quite vibe than those properly inside the grove. The wine everyone had was good and they had a handful of solid appetizer and small plate options that our group split and were satisfied with. The night we were there, they also had a duo playing some jazz covers, which was a nice touch. Overall, not a bad choice if you're at the Grove and wanting to grab a glass of wine.
