A neighborhood fixture since 1940, Chevalier's Books is one of the city's last standing independent bookstores serving generations of Hancock Park families and Larchmont Village locals. The bookstore is dedicated to children's books—with weekend story time Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am-11am—and carries a great selection of cookbooks.
