Of course the artwork is amazing, but one of the things we miss the most about museums? Their gift shops. Thankfully, four of our favorite Downtown L.A. institutions—which house some of our favorite gift shops in the city—are coming together for a one-weekend-only car-friendly shopping event.
Here’s how it works: You can peruse the catalogs online from the Shop at the Broad, the MOCA Store, the Library Store and the LA Phil Store. Place your orders and then, on December 12 and 13 from 11am to 4pm, you can cruise up and down Grand Avenue to roll up in front of each and pick up your presents curbside. As an added incentive, if you spend over $50 at a location, they’ll throw in a branded mug for free.
