Eastsiders: Put your Valentine's Day gifts in order (whether they're for a lover or yourself) at the inaugural IHeartSilverLake shopping extravaganza. For $5 admission, experience the rare opportunity to browse jewelry, lingerie, edibles, smellables and more, all crafted by more than 50 local designers and artisans. Mack Sennett studios will host the event, presenting each brand in designated sections for ladies and gentlemen, so couples can discreetly shop in tandem. A few of the participating brands, most of which are based right in Silver Lake, include Bar Keeper, Crap Eyewear, Native, The Juice, and Les Beaux Chocolats. The event will also feature quirky activities, such as Tarot Card readings, a Valentine themed photobooth and even a love advice booth, run by LA Renaissance artist, Strange Love. The shenanigans will be underscored with a romance-centric playlist by Mack Sennett Studios’ owner, and Grammy-Nominated music producer, Jesse Rogg. May the V-day spending commence.
