Residing at or near the top of the department-store tree, Neiman Marcus is widely nicknamed 'Needless Mark-ups.' However, nothing is really overpriced here: the goods are simply top-of-the-line, and you're paying for the quality (and the label: expect to find clothes from the likes of Diane von Furstenberg, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chloé). Good shoe department.
