Nestled in the midst of the shops and eateries on Beverly Boulevard lies this upper-level boutique spa (it's connected to Privé Salon downstairs). A veritable urban oasis, the East-meets-West spot is more intimate than most spas, which just adds to its charm, and its dark-wood and brick decor has a quieting, calming effect. Change into a heavy, plush robe in the cute, private locker room and then grab a seat on the daybed in the chic waiting area off of the lobby to sip tea and relax. The treatments here cover the usual range, from facials to Swedish massage, but also the more exclusive: Wellness treatments like re-connective healing are on offer, as well as acupuncture—a specialty—designed to get your mind, body and spirit in harmony with one another. Try the Ona Stoned ($160), a low-pressure hot stone massage that uses soothing heated basalt stones and bindi oil for sore muscles and succeeds in making you completely forget the busy world just outside the door for 80 minutes (ask for Angelica). Rinse off in a roomy private shower afterwards and then head back into the hustle and bustle of the city the better for your visit. The spa is understandably a celebrity favorite; find anyone from Jennifer Love Hewitt to Sean Hayes unwinding here, to Jennifer Garner prepping for an upcoming awards show.
