The old Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena has given way to this handsome, 22,000-capacity stadium (originally known as Banc of California Stadium) that’s home to Major Leage Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club and National Women’s Soccer League team Angel City FC.
If you love electronic music, you might want to catch buzzy Odesza at BMO Stadium, with support from Bob Moses, Ben Böhmer, DRAMA and Golden Features.
Dave Grohl and co. play a pair of dates at the Banc of California Stadium. The show follows last year’s L.A. tribute to the band’s late drummer, Taylor Hawkins, and includes a not-quite-as-but-still-impressive slate of support acts: the Hives, Amyl and The Sniffers, Pretenders and Alex G.
As once-maligned nu-metal bands find new appreciation amid the 20-to-30-year nostalgia cycle, it would be easy to throw Korn on the pile—except that Jonathan Davis’s scatting, grimy alt-metal outfit has always been kind of unironically great. See them celebrate their 30th anniversary with this show at BMO Stadium that features support from Evanescence, Gojira, Daron Malakian and Scars On Broadway, Spiritbox and Vended.
