Nabucco

A power struggle takes place in this production, which inspired by events recounted in the Bible, about the king of Assyria who decends into madness and his power hungry daughter who begins a reign of terror. The production premiered in 1842 at Teatro alla Scala. Here, Placido Domingo will take on the title role, along with Liudmyla Monastyrska, who will be making her company debut as the king's terrifying daughter, Abigaille.
