This play by Conor McPherson has each character floundering around trying to navigate their messed-up lives and fractured families. Resident slob Tommy performs odd jobs around town and ends up taking in Aimee, whose first appearance shows her covered in blood. As the characters grapple with intimacy issues—Aimee is a prostitute who finds sex too exhausting—and estrangement from one's family, the mood can quickly go from light and humorous to tragic. Here's your change to leave the kids with a babysitter for a couple hours and treat yourself to dinner and a show in Westwood.
