Usher House/The Canterville Ghost

The Broad Stage will be transformed into two different haunted houses in a double bill of operas by Gordon Getty. Writer Edgar Allen Poe is the main character of Usher House, an spooky thriller about a high-strung recluse, a madwoman and a sinister doctor living together in a mansion that has some secrets of its own. The Canterville Ghost puts a hilarious twist on Oscar Wilde's tale, in which the ghost of an English nobleman fails to impress his latest audience, a family of Americans who refuse to be frightened.
