Learn all about climate mobility—a less-discussed impact of climate change—at this free talk, presented by Zócalo Public Square and Carnegie California at the Natural History Museum’s new NHM Commons wing. Originally planned before the recent wildfires, the organizers now hope the event will serve as “a source of inspiration and ideas as we contemplate our collective future during a time of grief and loss.” After hearing a panel of experts tackle the topic, bring your newfound knowledge to an after-hours reception in the museum’s Dueling Dinos grand foyer and diorama halls, where local artists will celebrate the diversity and resilience of Los Angeles, dublab DJ Rani de Leon and vinyl deep listening sessions will provide the soundtrack, and Flavors from Afar will be serving food and drinks.
