Time Out says

The Grove will be Gilmore Girls-fan central this weekend as the already-idyllic shopping center’s park is transformed into a pop-up Stars Hollow to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the fall-favorite TV show—it premiered October 5, 2000. There’s been a lot of buzz around the free fan event, but not a lot of details—even still, RSVPs filled up within three days of the announcement. But we can now confirm that there will be five immersive photo ops that re-create the show’s small-town charm.

Guests will be able to pose with replicas of the iconic Stars Hollow gazebo and Lorelai’s Jeep Wrangler, the town sign and the “1,000 daisies” set from Max’s proposal. Last but certainly not least, you can enjoy free coffee and doughnuts at a pop-up Luke’s Diner—if they’re serving Luke actor Scott Patterson’s branded GG coffee, I can confirm that it’s delicious (and Lorelai would most certainly agree). And of course, there will be lots of merch for sale.

It’s unclear whether Grove shoppers be able to catch a glimpse of the Stars Hollow sets without a ticket—we happened to be at the Grove on Thursday, and temporary hedge walls were blocking the area as construction was wrapping up. If you’re a fan and happen to be in the area, it might be worth stopping by in case any last-minute slots open up or a standby line forms.

If you don’t get in to the Grove’s event though, don’t worry. In just over two months, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will bring back its popular Holidays Made Here tour, which brings the backlot where Gilmore Girls was actually filmed back to life as a wintry version of Stars Hollow.
