Time Out says

See future box-office hits as well as niche, indie gems at the annual AFI Fest, held in Hollywood. For five days, a mix of films will be shown at the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Chinese 6 Theatres. The complete schedule is listed online, but highlights include red-carpet premieres and special screenings followed by Q&As with filmmakers and stars like Kristen Stewart, Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Brendan Fraser, Amanda Seyfried, Joel Edgerton, William H. Macy and more. You’ll also find Oscar-contending world cinema, documentaries, shorts and a “Luminaries” section with the latest works by world-renowned filmmakers including Jim Jarmusch, Werner Herzog, Charlie Kaufman and Paolo Sorrentino. And most screenings are only $19—less than the cost of an AMC ticket. The fest kicks off Wednesday, October 22, with the premiere of buzzworthy Bruce biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White.
