Teenagers are cultured too, especially when no adults are allowed! They prove it by lining up in droves to admire art and dance under the stars at this unique teen-only annual party at LACMA. During this year’s celebration they can visit current exhibitions Ends and Exits, Stephen Prina: As He Remembered It, and (sure to be a hit) Metropolis II. They can also dance to ArTES High School DJ’s spinning their favorite hits. Don’t believe teens can have a blast at a museum party? Watch this video from last year and be proved oh-so wrong (last year’s event coincided with the super popular Tim Burton exhibit and drew over 2,000 youngsters). All middle schoolers and high schoolers who bring IDs can get in, but they are encouraged to RSVP online because the event might fill up. After Dark admission is free— all the teens might need is some food truck petty cash.
