Autry’s Annual Block Party

“Love Letters to L.A.” is the theme of this year’s block party at the Autry Museum of the American West, a celebration of “everything that makes L.A. unique and amazing.” Buck around on a mechanical bull, go for a ride on the Ferris wheel, watch trick ropers and so much more during this annual open house. Expect music, carnival games, food trucks, museum tours, plein air painting, documentary screenings, a horse-grooming workshop, a car show and a marketplace, too. New this year is a prehistoric Dino Land experience for kids. While you’re at the museum, check out the exhibition “Life, Liberty, and Los Angeles.” Block Party tickets are normally $20, but at the time of writing, they’re only $2–$4.75 online.
