Black History Greens Festival

Now in its 11th year, this joyful fest celebrates Black History Month with music, dance, soul food, storytimes and community vibes at Virginia Avenue Park. Bring lawn chairs and a blanket for a picnic, then get on your feet and learn to line dance—the theme of this year’s event is “Boots on the Ground”—and watch cooking demos by local chefs.
