You don’t have to be a Marvel superhero to potentially save lives, as recently evidenced by Ellen Marie Bennett. The founder of kitchen attire company Heldey & Bennett is leading a major charge on face-mask donation, and she’s going to sit down (virtually) with none other than Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson to discuss how she’s making it happen and how to stay safe.
Bennett’s colorful company best known for its aprons pivoted last month, launching an assembly line making reusable cloth masks during the global face-mask shortage.
The L.A.-made masks—dubbed "The Wake Up and Fight Masks"—can be purchased by all, and for each one that is, one gets donated to a healthcare or other frontline worker. (If you’re feeling especially charitable, you can also choose to forfeit yours and donate two.)
To sit in on this chat of superhuman proportion, join via Larson’s Instagram account, where she’ll be going live on Thursday, April 16, at 5pm PST.
"I’m so inspired by Ellen and can’t wait to share what I’ve learned from her," Larson posted.
