This delectably titled exhibition is heavier on art than it is sweets, but the promise of free chocolate should be enough to get you in the door. Head to the Vortex (2341 E Olympic Blvd) for two nights of up-and-coming artists, photographers and creators, with activities that include live body painting, live music, face-painting, free nail art/henna tattoos, live portraits and that sweet, sweet free chocolate.
This is a show for the casual art observer. If you enjoy cliche' artwork about money, greed and god, then this is the place for you. The artwork is poorly hung at times. The creators of the show seem to have little consideration for the artist, but more of a concern for how much funds they accumulate. They charge a lot for a crowded environment that is difficult to move around in. It's a trendy and hip event for one to come and hang out with friends and get drunk.
