CityLab

Like the Justice League for urban progress, an international panel of city leadership will convene in LA for this three-day summit. Over 300 mayors, urban experts, city planners, writers, technologists, economists and designers will take part in CityLab with the goal of sparking strategies to shape cities around the world. The bulk of the conference is invite-only—though livestream-able—but there is a public event Monday night at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. Speakers at this special "Making LA" panel include, Mayor Eric Garcetti, Roy Choi, LACMA Executive Director Michael Govan, Grove developer Rick Caruso and more.
