Award-winning dancer and choreographer Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy is hosting its third community block party, a day full of free carnival rides and games, arts and crafts, free dance classes, performances, a marketplace from diverse business owners and even a free three-day breakdance workshop at the academy (June 6–8) culminating in a competition at the party. It’ll all go down near West Adams, on Washington Boulevard between Western Avenue and Gramercy Place.
