Don’t miss this flavorful escape: La Fermière is hosting a yogurt and dessert experience

After bringing its signature joie de vivre to New York City last year, the upscale, family-owned French yogurt and dessert company La Fermière is coming to L.A. this September to share its rich treats and refined quality with Angelenos. From Thursday, September 19 through Sunday, September 22, from 8am to 7pm daily, the Provence-born brand will take over 3118 Sunset Boulevard for the "Flavorful Yogurt and Dessert Experience" pop-up in the city’s trendy Silver Lake neighborhood. Get ready to indulge.

A celebration of innovative taste and tradition, the four-day pop-up will spotlight La Fermière’s elegant yogurts and crème desserts, which have been distinguished by their high-quality, all-natural ingredients—think pasture-raised eggs, Madagascar vanilla beans, and whole milk and cream sourced daily from dairy farms in upstate New York—and their sweet, signature, reusable blue lavender terracotta pots since 1952.

The brand’s collection of creative flavors will be available for purchase on-site throughout the pop-up, with delicately floral yogurt options like Rose and Jasmine, fruit-on-the-bottom favorites like Yuzu Ginger and Mango Passion Fruit, and oven-baked crèmes flavored with ingredients like Colombian Arabica coffee beans and single-origin, cacao-trace chocolate from Vietnam. But along with those time-honored varieties, pop-up patrons will get the chance to dip a spoon into a dreamy recipe made with their traditional creamy desserts. (But we don’t want to spoil the surprise!)

And beyond getting to enjoy those sweet treats, each day of the pop-up activation will see La Fermière partner with different local businesses to elevate your tasting experience. 

• Friday, September 20, 4–8pm—Enjoy a sudsy after-work party with local craft brewery Best Day Brewing, who will be pouring their non-alcoholic IPAs, pilsners and more. 

• Saturday, September 21, 9am–6pm—Have your iconic La Fermière blue terracotta pots personalized by professional engraver Betty Ling for free.

• Sunday, September 22—Delight in a double dose of freebies. 

• 9–11:30am—Be among the first 50 guests to show up to the “Flavorful Yogurt and Dessert Experience" pop-up to take home a complimentary bouquet of fresh flowers.

• 2–6pm—Enjoy a free 10-minute session with modern mystic Erin the Urban Mermaid, who will lead you through tarot or astrology readings, or a soul guidance in celebration of La Fermière’s limited-edition, zodiac-inspired yogurt pots.
